Less than 5 minutes of interaction with a human that will not kill them can potentially end up saving hundreds more like them. And the animals they do encounter in the wild they are able to get a lot of information by getting hands on and that research has given priceless information on how to better preserve their entire species. Almost every animal they have captive were either born in captivity as a conservation effort to quit least preserve the species from going extinct or they were injured, rescued and not fit to be released back to wild.
What natural habitat!? Most of the species they have are endangered because of humans interfering with their habitats.
